We recommend starting this tour by leaving Waikiki around 9am. This way you will miss the worst of Honolulu’s morning traffic. If you stop at most of the suggested highlights along the tour, expect to get back to Waikiki around 4pm.
Concentrating on the South eastern part of the island, the tour leads you to some of Hawaii’s most iconic locations, closer to Waikiki. You will find yourself taking many photos on this driving tour.
Take a hike for amazing views from Diamond Head and Makapuu Point, swim and the world’s most famous snorkelling beach, Hanauma Bay (closed Tuesdays) or watch 20 foot water geysers at the Halona Blowhole.

If you plan to go snorkelling at Hanauma Bay (closed Tuesdays) as a part of your tour day, its best to leave Waikiki 8-8.30am. When parking fills up at Hanauma Bay they will not allow any new entries until others leave the location. If stopping at the major highlights you should expect to get back to Waikiki around 3-4pm.
