Kamloops - Hope: The Coquihalla Route - Fastest way to/from Vancouver

The Coquihalla is the new super-highway providing the fastest connection between Kamloops and Hope, a replacement for the slower but more scenic Highway #1 route through the Fraser Canyon. Though appreciated more for its speed than beauty, there is much to scenery enjoy as the highway travels the spine of a mountain range and dips into ranchlands and fertile valleys. Merritt is a town about halfway along the Coquihalla and from there you can join the similarly fast Okanagan Connector to Kelowna.
